JACKSON, Tenn. — A day after a man’s body is found in a vehicle parked at Muse Park in east Jackson, Madison County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Tom Mapes said the death has been ruled a suicide. According to investigators, William Jobe Jr., 35, of Madison County was found just before 9 a.m. Thursday. Deputies said his family had filed a missing person’s report about an hour before he was discovered. Jobe was supposed to have started a new job Wednesday at Walmart in north Jackson but never reported to work or returned home, Mapes said. Mapes would not comment on whether there were visible injuries or if a weapon was recovered.
