NAACP hosts mayoral, city council forum at Lane College
EAST JACKSON — The local chapter of the NAACP held a mayoral candidate and city council forum Thursday evening at Lane College. The Jackson-Madison County NAACP Branch forum was moderated by attorney Richard Donnell, host of “Community Feedback” on 95.7 FM. The forum was intended to focus on public safety and criminal justice as well as economics, education, health and voting rights, according to an NAACP release.
