Man accused of stalking, harassing Jackson woman

JACKSON, Tenn. — A man from Stantonville, Tenn., is charged with harassment and stalking after being arrested by Jackson police. Court papers say a Jackson woman constantly received text messages, phone calls and written letters from Stanley Clay Jones. The victim said she’d get up to 40 calls a day from him and that she had nightmares about what he might do to her. Jones is a registered sex offender and is now being held in lieu of a $5,000 bond.
