Officials say Bolivar house fire not suspicious

BOLIVAR, Tenn. — The fire that destroyed a house Monday morning is not considered suspicious, according to the Bolivar Fire Department. A single-family house on English Street was destroyed in the fire. No one was home at the time, and no injuries were reported. Fire officials have said the two-alarm fire began around 8 a.m. The cause of the fire is not yet known. It took firefighters about 20 minutes to get the fire under control.
