More than 1,000 ballots cast on last early voting day
JACKSON, Tenn. — On Thursday, the last day of early voting, more than a thousand voters went to the polls. A total of 1,030 Jackson voters cast ballots. That brings the early voting total to almost 7,200, which equals more than 16 percent of registered voters. You still can vote on election day, which is May 5.
