Mayor, local ministers to host prayer breakfast
JACKSON, Tenn. — The 64th annual National Day of Prayer with the theme of “Transforming Our Nation Through Prayer” is Wednesday, and the Jackson Area Ministerial Association and the mayor’s office is hosting a prayer breakfast to coincide with the day. The event begins at 7 a.m. at the Carl Perkins Civic Center, and the mayor invites all faiths and believers to attend. Tickets for the breakfast are $7 each, and tables of eight are available.
