BEMIS, Tenn. — Residents both past and present along with historians were a part of a weekend to celebrate a community’s history. Bemis was founded in 1900, and many worked at the historic Bemis Mill. In the past year, the fate of the mill was decided and will be torn down with a recreational park put in its place. The park will feature a brick wall made from parts of the mill. This weekend, those in Bemis said it was all about visiting with old friends and sharing memories of the past. This was the 17th annual Bemis Heritage Days event.
