MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — The Madison County Commission voted Monday to approve the resignation of Mark Johnstone. As reported last week, Johnstone submitted his resignation after moving out of his district. Arthur Johnson will serve as interim, and remaining District 9 commissioners Joe Roland and Traci Carney will nominate someone to fill the third seat. The commission is expected to vote on both next month.
