One-vehicle crash claims life of Carroll Co. man

CARROLL COUNTY, Tenn.-A single vehicle wreck in Carroll County Thursday afternoon claims the life of a man from McKenzie. Troopers said the wreck happened around 3:45 p.m. along Hinkledale Road at the intersection of Winston Road. According to the THP, Mickey Winstead, 50, lost control of his Ford Ranger pickup truck in a curve, ran off the road, hit a culvert and flipped. The vehicle then caught fire.
