Late night fire damages Henderson Co. restaurant

PARKERS CROSSROADS, Tenn. — Firefighters responded Thursday night to a restaurant fire in Henderson County.

Firefighters said the fire broke out between 10:15 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. at Patty’s Restaurant in Parkers Crossroads.

Investigators said the fire started in the rear of the restaurant in an area used for barbecuing.

They said the building sustained extensive water, smoke and heat damage.

Firefighters say no one was there at the time, and no injuries have been reported.

The cause remains under investigation.

Crews will head out Friday morning to continue their investigation.
