JACKSON, Tenn. — Crime Stoppers supporters hit the links Monday in north Jackson in an effort to keep the crime fighting group going. Crime Stoppers hosted its annual Summer Golf Tournament at the Jackson National Golf Course. More than a hundred golfers teamed up to compete. With a thousand dollars raised, Lt. Mike Johnson says he hopes participants and supporters walk away knowing they’re helping solve crime throughout Jackson-Madison County. Crime Stoppers, a nonprofit organization, started in Jackson in 1983.
