Three Generals named All-Stars

Three Jackson Generals learned they’re heading to Montgomery, Alabama for the 2015 Southern League All-Star Game. Outfielders Dario Pizzano and Jabari Blash along with pitcher James Gillheeney will play for the North Division All-Star Team. Pizzano recorded a Generals’ franchise-record 25-game hit streak this season, while Blash is tied for fourth in the Southern League with nine home runs. As for the left-handed pitcher, Gillheeney is 3-1 with a 2.45 earned run average. The trio competes on Tuesday, June 23 at Riverwalk Stadium.
