4 new principals announced for Jackson-Madison Co. schools

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — Jackson-Madison County Schools Superintendent Dr. Verna Ruffin announced the appointments of four new principals Tuesday for the 2015-2016 school year. Tracey Vowell has been named new principal at Pope Elementary. Tiffany Taylor has been named principal at North Parkway Middle School. Catherine Garrett will take over as principal of Denmark Elementary and Paul Eichelkraut will be principal of Malesus Elementary. Vowell is the former principal of North Parkway Middle School, and Taylor is the former principal of Denmark Elementary. Garrett joins the school system after serving in the Memphis-Shelby County School System for 18 years. Eichelkraut joins the district after having served in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin Public School System for nine years.
