Jackson writes off more parking tickets

JACKSON, Tenn. — The city of Jackson has added to a list of more than $800,000 in approved write-offs. Jackson’s City Council approved writing off $43,675 in unpaid parking tickets from 2010 to 2014. These write-offs join the more than $600,000 in city court fines from the 2010 to 2011 fiscal year and $139,000 in unpaid property taxes from 2003 that were written off by the city in June.
