Teen suspect in DCS worker assault back in Tennessee

HENDERSON, Tenn. — The juvenile who reportedly attacked a Department of Children’s Services worker and stole her car before leading authorities on a chase into Mississippi is now back in Tennessee. According to the Henderson Police Department, the juvenile was brought back to West Tennessee after being treated at a hospital in Alcorn County for injuries from the crash that ended his chase with officers. The minor is now at a holding facility in Middle Tennessee. More charges likely will be filed against him. DCS is investigating what led to the attack. Officials there said it will take about two weeks to complete the analysis. The victim was last reported in stable condition.
