Truck crashes into utility pole in north Jackson
JACKSON, Tenn. — A driver had a scare Wednesday evening when his truck ran into a ditch and struck a utility pole. Jackson police said the wreck happened around 8:30 p.m. as the driver was headed west in the 800 block of Old Humboldt Road when he swerved to miss another car. Investigators say the truck ran off the road and hit a utility pole before crashing onto its side. As of now there are no reports of injuries or power outages.
