Fire destroys Benton County home

BENTON COUNTY, Tenn. — A home is destroyed by a Monday afternoon fire, and crews are still on scene putting out hot spots. The house fire occurred in the 400 block of Arnold Road and took more than an hour to get under control, according to fire officials. The Benton County Fire Department and Camden Fire Department both responded. Firefighters said the home was fully engulfed when they arrived. Fire officials believe the fire began in the garage, but the cause is still under investigation.
