Man accused of stabbing man in back with ice pick

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A Jackson man appeared Monday in city court on accusations of stabbing another man with an ice pick. Gregory Goff is being charged with aggravated assault. Court papers say he stabbed the victim in the back twice with an ice pick as he walked up a flight of stairs. Police say Goff fled the scene shortly afterward. He is being held in lieu of a $30,000 bond.
