One dead after head-on crash involving dirt bike

GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — The driver of a dirt bike was killed Saturday with he was involved in a head-on collision. Benjamin Diebel, 26, was killed when another vehicle crossed the center line to pass, striking the dirt bike he was driving head-on, according to a preliminary accident report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol. The driver of the other vehicle and the one passenger were not injured, according to the report. The wreck occurred around 8:45 p.m. on Frog Jump-Brazil Road about seven miles west of Trenton, according to the THP. The other vehicle was traveling west when the driver pulled into the eastbound lane to pass another vehicle, hitting the dirt bike head-on, the report states.
