Humboldt man charged with aggravated statutory rape

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — A Humboldt man was arrested Thursday on two counts of aggravated statutory rape. Tarrance Perry, 35, is accused of having consensual sexual contact with a 14-year-old girl, according to a release from the Humboldt Police Department. Police say the teen told them Perry had consensual sexual contact with her in September and October.
