JACKSON, Tenn. — A man went before a judge Thursday on accusations of throwing a brick through the rear window of his girlfriend’s SUV and later running from police. Arthur Evans is accused of trying to punch his girlfriend inside her apartment Wednesday in the 1500 block of North Royal Street, according to court documents. He also is accused of throwing a brick through the back window of her Nissan Armada and then leading police on a foot chase when they arrived. Court papers say the window is valued at about $300. Evans is charged with simple domestic assault, evading arrest and vandalism. His bond is set at $5,000.
