Man charged with forgeries spanning 3 counties

BENTON COUNTY, Tenn. — A man is arrested after officers link him to multiple forgeries and find drugs in his vehicle, according to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office. The sheriff’s office and the Camden Police Department were investigating a forgery case in which James Paul Hill was a suspect, according to a release from the sheriff’s office. Officers stopped Hill on Main Street in Camden and found he was driving on a revoked license, according to the release. An investigation linked Hill to multiple forgeries in Benton, Decatur and Henry counties, according to the sheriff’s office. Officials say the forgeries amount to thousands of dollars. Officers also reportedly found meth, marijuana and drug paraphernalia in Hill’s vehicle, according to the release.
