THP identifies woman killed in McNairy Co. wreck
McNAIRY COUNTY, Tenn. — A woman was killed Wednesday in a head-on collision involving a tractor-trailer, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol. Gwen Wright of Union City was killed when the Ford Fusion she was driving crossed the turn lane on Highway 45 and struck a tractor-trailer head-on, according to a THP report. The crash occurred around 1:30 p.m. on Highway 45 just north of Highway 57 in Eastview, according to the report. Wright was wearing a seat belt, the report states. The truck driver was not injured, according to the report.
