NORTH JACKSON, Tenn. – Time is something North Side head coach Tab Vowell wants, but can’t have. “Making some improvements in some areas. Kids up front are getting better,” Vowell said. “We’re making some strides, just gotta get everybody making strides.” Vowell plans for North Side’s identity to remain the same despite a new offensive coordinator. “The philosophy hasn’t changed a lot,” Vowell said. “We just gotta keep improving as a team” What has changed about the Indians schedule is an annual regular season meeting against South Side. The two schools were unable to meet in middle ground because of North Side’s large region schedule. “You only have two non district games,” Vowell said. “It just worked out where the dates didn’t match.” The Indians and Hawks will face off in the Sports Plus Jamboree.
