Police seek suspects in ‘smash & grab’ Walmart thefts

LEXINGTON, Tenn. — After men steal an unknown amount of merchandise by breaking into a Walmart display case, police are saying the incident is similar to a recent crime in Huntingdon. Lexington police say four or five males were involved and fled through a fire exit. Police in Huntingdon are looking to identify suspects in a similar incident last week at Walmart. They say three men broke into an electronics case with a hammer, stole thousands in cell phones and ran away through the fire exit. Huntingdon police have released security images of the men they say are responsible.
