DOWNTOWN JACKSON — Jackson police officers led by Chief Julian Wiser joined the Sea of Blue that supported the family of the slain officer in Memphis. Hub City officers pulled out from downtown Thursday morning in a caravan headed to Memphis. One officer here in the Hub City remembers serving with officer Sean Bolton in the Marines. “We did one deployment together back in 2007 to Iraq,” Officer Ron DeWald said. “Sean was a good man. He’s going to be missed by his fellow officers as well as by his brothers in the Marine Corps.”
