WEAKLEY COUNTY, Tenn. — A Benton County man is jailed after fleeing from officers during a traffic stop. Investigators said Christopher Cutting of Big Sandy was clocked speeding in Dresden. He later crashed and jumped out of his car. Multiple agencies hunted for Cutting for more than five hours before he was spotted again in the Dresden McDonald’s. Investigators said as he ran from officers, a bystander tackled him in the parking lot and held him. Cutting is jailed in Weakley County on multiple charges and also is wanted on unrelated charges in Benton and Henry counties.
