Deputies searching for escaped Gibson Co. inmate

GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — A Gibson County inmate escaped Monday morning, according to Sheriff Paul Thomas. Jeffrey Patterson, 27, of Humboldt ran through an open door and fled on foot around 11:30 a.m. while attending court in Trenton, according to a release from the sheriff’s office. Patterson was jailed at the Gibson Correctional Complex with pending charges of aggravated burglary, burglary and theft over $500, the release states. He is described as a black male, five feet five inches tall and weighing 150 pounds, according to the release. Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 731-855-1121.
