Man faces ID theft charge, accused of stealing debit card

JACKSON, Tenn. — A Jackson man appeared Monday in city court on an identity theft charge after allegedly stealing and fraudulently using a family member’s debit card. Court papers say Joshua Adam Baker is accused taking a family member’s debit card without permission and using it to make $1,066 in transactions. The victim reported the incident July 24, and an investigator with the Jackson Police Department collected video Friday from Wal-Mart allegedly showing Baker using the stolen card.
