2 attempted murder suspects surrender in Madison Co.

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — Two men wanted on attempted murder charges out of McMinn County surrendered Tuesday in Madison County. Daniel Farr and Harold Hutsell, both of Athens, Tenn., surrendered to Madison County deputies and the TBI around 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, according to a release from the sheriff’s department. The surrender was pre-arranged by their attorney and they were arrested without incident, according to the release. The men feared for their safety and chose to surrender in Madison County, according to the sheriff’s office. They are in custody at the criminal justice complex awaiting transfer to McMinn County.
