Fire marshal says north Jackson apartment blaze is arson

NORTH JACKSON — The fire marshal has ruled a Monday morning blaze at a north Jackson apartment complex an arson. The fire at Camellia Trace Apartments has been ruled an arson by Fire Marshal Lamar Childress of the Jackson Fire Department. He has sent evidence to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Investigators said the flames damaged a unit and three vehicles. Officials do not believe this fire is connected with the fire at Bent Tree Golf Course in east Jackson.
