MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — The Madison County Sheriff’s Department has responded to a lawsuit filed by the family of Dillon McGee, denying all charges brought against them. McGee was fatally shot last September by a Madison County deputy. The lawsuit is seeking $3 million in compensatory damages and an amount of punitive damages to be determined by a jury. The sheriff’s department said the complaint should be dismissed.
