Weakley Co. gets new administrator of elections

WEAKLEY COUNTY, Tenn. — The Weakley County Election Commission welcomes a new administrator. Alex Britt was elected administrator of elections from a pool of five candidates during a Tuesday night meeting, according to retiring administrator Barbara Castleman. Britt will succeed Castleman, who retires Aug. 31. Around 50 people turned out for the meeting. State Rep. Andy Holt recommended Britt for the position.
