Paris police: Seat belt stop results in chase, felony charges

PARIS, Tenn. — A man faces numerous charges after police say he led them on a chase when they tried to stop him for a seat belt violation. Christopher Love is being held in lieu of a $100,000 bond at the Henry County Jail after a chase along Highway 641. Police say it started as a seat belt violation before Love took off. The resulting chase included Henry County deputies, Paris police, Metro Crime Unit officers and officers with the Puryear Police Department. Love is charged with evading arrest, reckless endangerment, marijuana possession and aggravated assault against an officer.
