JACKSON– The Circles of Hope Telethon benefiting the Carl Perkins Center for Child Abuse Prevention is happening Sunday. The event begins at 1:00 PM at the Carl Perkins Civic Center and will be broadcasted by WBBJ in its entirety. The Telethon is the biggest fundraiser for the Carl Perkins Center and organizers say the anticipation is at an all time high. “I think everybody is excited. Everybody is anticipating a big day tomorrow. I think all the folks across the area are going to pick up those phones and it will be a big day for the exchange club Carl Perkins Center,” Ernest Harper said.
