Police make arrest in theft from Humboldt dollar store deposit

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — Police have arrested a woman in connection with a report of money missing from a store deposit for a local retail store. Police say managers at Family Dollar Store reported the missing funds June 30. After an investigation, police arrested Ashton Elisa Forsyth, 28, of Milan on a charge of theft over $1,000, according to the Humboldt Police Department. She has been sent to the Gibson County Criminal Complex in Trenton.
