I-40 crash slows traffic in west Madison County

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — An afternoon crash on I-40 has traffic backed up in west Madison County. The wreck occurred east of Exit 68 on the eastbound side of the interstate, according to troopers on scene. Traffic was backed up and being diverted onto Highway 70 starting at Exit 68 as crews were clearing the scene. WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News will have more details as they become available.
