Jackson YMCA hosts its final event

JACKSON, Tenn. — Saturday marked the end of an era at a local community center. The Jackson YMCA has been a place for Jackson’s youth to connect through sports for more than a century. The center held its last event, a karate and Taekwondo teaching camp. Dozens came from all over West Tennessee. The program’s instructor said the closing is going to affect a lot of people in the Hub City.
