Henderson Co. park to be made handicap accessible

HENDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. — A park soon will be accessible to everyone, all thanks to a class project. River Edge Park in Darden soon will have a handicap-accessible gazebo and other amenities. After receiving a grant last year for the playground, the Chamber of Commerce’s leadership class wanted to make the entire park handicap accessible. Officials say the park will be under construction for several months.
