Fire destroys tobacco barn in Henry County

BUCHANAN, Tenn.-First responders with the Paris Landing Fire Department went out to a call of a tobacco barn on fire, along Blood River Church Road, in Buchanan. The owner told investigators he was firing tobacco in the barn and the fire, and the fire was accidental. Units stayed at the scene for nearly two hours but the barn was a total loss. Estimated damage is at $65,000.
