Union City man reports $600 of boating gear stolen from garage
UNION CITY, Tenn. — Police are investigating a theft of several hundred dollars worth of boating gear from a man’s garage. The man heard a door slam outside his house on Cheatham Street and went outside to see a dark colored Ford Ranger leaving his driveway heading west, according to a report from the Union City Police Department. The man found about $600 worth of items missing from his garage, including a red ski tube, about 10 life jackets, two sets of skis and two tube ropes.
