Benton Co. officers seize more pot plants from same field

BENTON COUNTY, Tenn. — More marijuana plants have been seized after a second sweep of a field already targeted by officers. The plants were found in the same field where the Benton County Sheriff’s Office cut down and destroyed plants last week. Officers say the marijuana plants from this search were about half the size as the ones before. Investigators say they still are not sure who may be responsible.
