Middleton teen killed in Mississippi crash

MIDDLETON, Tenn. — A teenager from Middleton was killed in a Wednesday wreck in Mississippi. Mary C. Brown, 16, was killed in the crash that happen around 5:30 p.m. in Tippah County, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol. Troopers say it appeared Brown was traveling eastbound on U.S. 72 when she apparently lost control of the 2001 Jeep she was driving. The vehicle left the roadway and overturned, and Brown was ejected and died on scene, according to the MHP.
