MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — During Monday’s county commission meeting, Commissioner Jerry Bastin tendered his resignation. In his resignation letter, Bastin stated he and his wife were moving out of the district to spend more time with family. Bastin had been serving in District 10. That district’s remaining commissioners, Ann Duvall Harrell and Harold Petty, will recommend a replacement to fill his seat for the remainder of his term.
