Man gets life sentence in death of 2-year-old

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — A man convicted of murdering a 2-year-old boy has been sentenced to life with the possibility of parole. Quadarius Devonta Bufford was tried by jury Sept. 15 and 16 in Humboldt. He was found guilty of first-degree murder as a result of aggravated child abuse in the death of 2-year-old Brayden Taylor, who died Nov. 21, 2013, according to the Humboldt Police Department. Bufford, of Humboldt, was 21 at the time of the incident and was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole. He will have to serve 51 years before he will be eligible for parole.
