McNAIRY COUNTY, Tenn. — More communities in West Tennessee have joined the Keep America Beautiful movement. The McNairy County Chamber of Commerce and Chester County were honored Wednesday for qualifying to affiliate with the nationwide campaign. The counties are working to keep every community clean, green and a beautiful place to live. “For the county to keep their streets clean, address beautification issues, and be wise with their resources, they’re probably going to be better candidates when it comes to recruiting businesses,” said Missy Marshall, executive director with Keep American Beautiful. Keep America Beautiful has been working for 40 years to change behaviors concerning litter and waste reduction and to boost recycling.
