Woman accused of hitting boyfriend with vehicle is arrested

HENRY COUNTY, Tenn. — A woman wanted in Benton County for allegedly hitting her boyfriend with a vehicle has been arrested. Michelle Zell was arrested Tuesday night during a traffic stop in Henry County. She was wanted by the Benton County Sheriff’s Office on accusations of running over her boyfriend in a cemetery on Natchez Trace Drive in Benton County, according to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office. The boyfriend suffered a few broken bones but is expected to recover. Zell will face drug charges out of Henry County that stem from the traffic stop and then will be extradited back to Benton County to face aggravated assault charges, according to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office.
