JACKSON, Tenn. — Following a guilty plea last week in a 2013 shooting, a man learned his punishments Thursday in a Jackson courtroom. Officials from Judge Roy Morgan’s courtroom confirm Corey Gray will serve just less than five years in prison after pleading guilty to seven counts including attempted first-degree murder, using a weapon during a felony and reckless endangerment. That 2013 shooting happened just outside the Madison County Sheriff’s Office. A 24-year-old man and a 5-year-old girl were injured.
