Tenn. education commissioner to visit Madison, Hardin co. schools

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — The state’s education commissioner will be visiting West Tennessee Wednesday and will tour schools in Madison and Hardin counties. Commissioner Candice McQueen will be making the stops as part of her Classroom Chronicles Tour, according to a Tennessee Department of Education release. McQueen began the tour last spring with the goal of connecting with 10,000 Tennessee teachers in every region of the state by the end of the 2015-16 school year, the release states.
