Dyersburg shooting suspect surrenders to police

DYERSBURG, Tenn.-The search for a gunman accused of shooting a man in the face last week has ended. Investigators with the Dyersburg Police Department told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News, Quentel Harris surrendered to authorities Tuesday evening. Investigators said Harris is facing a charge of attempted murder. Dyersburg police said Harris shot the person Friday night and fled. That victim was in a Memphis hospital and his latest condition is unknown. Harris is being held in the Dyer County jail.
